Shanxi Lantian Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. is a professional enterprise combining new products R&D of the boiler technology system, outfit manufacture, marketing promotion and application and implementation of energy contract services. The company holds the National class-A boiler manufacturing license, D-grade pressure vessel manufacturing license and Class II boiler installation, reformation and repair license. Its core products own independent intellectual property rights. It also has obtained more than fifty national patents.

In 2012, the company was selected as “national technology innovation demonstration enterprise” by the national Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Ministry of Finance jointly, rated as one of the "national torch plan key high-tech enterprises" by the national Ministry of science and technology, and selected as one of the first batch enterprises of “specialized, refined, unique and new environmental protection equipment” by China Machinery Industry Federation. The company also won many honors such as "high-tech enterprise in Shanxi province", "Shanxi provincial enterprise technology center", one of the "30 key private enterprises of Shanxi province" and so on.

Besides gas-solid dual combustion environment-friendly boiler and pulverized coal fired industrial boiler as the leading products, the company’s products also include oil (gas)-fired boiler, circulating fluidized bed boiler, waste heat boiler, garbage incineration boilers and so on. The company established its production base in Xinzhou Science and Technology Innovation Park. With an annual output of 18000 steam tons complete sets of equipment of boilers, the production base provides customers with package services including investment and financing, heating diagnosis, engineering design, equipment manufacturing, installation and operation.

Through over ten years’ technical innovations and breakthroughs, the company has made remarkable achievements in the field of energy saving and environmental protection equipment, e.g. "the technology of clean combustion and pollution control of industrial pulverized coal-fired boiler" was included in the National Ministry of Environmental Protection “Catalogues of National Advanced Demonstration Techniques for Pollution Control" and “Catalogues of Environmental Protection Technologies Encouraged by the State"; the innovative achievements of "The new high-efficiency environment-friendly pulverized coal-fired boiler and air pollutant purification technique" gained support of "National Science and Technology Support Program" and was included by National Development and Reform Commission in the “State Key Energy-Efficient Technology Promotion Catalogues"; “the new high-efficiency environmentally friendly pulverized coal-fired boiler system technology” was included in the 2012 annual "catalogue of energy saving technology and product promotion of special equipment with high energy consumption" of Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ).

The company actively participates in the study of our country’s key science and technology program. The "coal-fired industrial boiler energy efficiency and energy contract management and demonstration projects" was included in the 2012 “National Science and Technology Support Program.

Since Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) approved the construction of "The National Environmental Protection Engineering and Technical Center for Energy Efficiency and Pollution Control of Industrial Coal-Fired Boiler" in supporting companies in 2011, this engineering and technical center has become the only one that takes energy efficiency and environment-friendly techniques for coal-fired industrial boiler as its R&D priority. Being in the field of our country’s development, industrialization and resource comprehensive application of coal-fired industrial boiler techniques, Center, learning from the latest domestic and foreign study achievements and development experience, works on the innovation and service in coal-fired industrial boiler techniques, industry, management and consultation according to our country’s current technical status and development trend.

The group has its headquarter located in Hi-tech International Building in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, with its R&D bases established in Taiyuan High-tech Development Zone, Beijing Beike Venture Building and Ji'nan Ginza Plaza Building, and also its production base in Xinzhou Science and Technology Innovation Park. By the end of 2012, the company has a staff of 886, with 305 engineering technicians of which 168 have intermediate and senior technical titles or above.

During the "Twelfth Five Year Plan" period, the Blue Sky Group is going to achieve the"111333" development goals, namely, to construct 1 science and technology innovation park, 1 Blue Sky Building and 1 national well-known trademark; to establish 3 state-level engineering technology R&D centers -- state-level environmental engineering center, state-level enterprise center and state-level key laboratory；to construct 3 new energy power generation projects -- straw power generation, sludge incineration power generation and garbage incineration power generation；to complete 3 billion RMB Yuan investment, and to build 30 heat source plants for heat and steam supply.
